A large 1960s  Venini Murano glass ball “Tessuto” swirl pendant light white swirling line design on an opaque background. With soild brass top and ringRe wired with new brass fittings and antique cord flex and orignal ceiling rose 

This stunning glass technique was originally  invented by Carlo Scarpa for Venini & Co during the late 30s and is still used today. It was used by Paolo Venini in the 1950s for many new designs and praised by Gio Ponti in his Domus magazine at the time.
