A 1980s colonial style carved wood and rattan desk by Roche Bobois

A 1980s colonial style carved wood and rattan desk by Roche Bobois, attributed to French rattan and bamboo company Maugrion. There are five drawers and the two lower drawers have a dummy front making the lower drawers deeper than ones above while giving the effect of three drawers on each side.  The edges of the desk and drawers are carved limed wood with faux branch design, with inlaid limed rattan and large carved acorn handles. This is a very well made, high quality piece in good original condition and structurally sound.
