A wonderful 1950s marquetry birds-eye maplewood console dresser desk by Vittorio Dassi

A wonderful 1950s three drawer console dresser desk by Vittorio Dassi. Beautifully designed in lacquered herringbone, birds-eye maple wood. The thick 15mm glass top is supported by heavy solid brass top mounts. Underneath there are blue glass panels to the left and right of the drawers. The legs are tapered and shaped with solid brass tipped feet. A well designed, solid, quality piece with wonderful detail and very versatile as it could be used as a console table, sideboard, dressing table or desk.
